Hypnosis is simply a state of the mind where the mind is in a more receptive state for programming and influencing by slowing the brain frequencies down to 8 - 10 Hz. We naturally go in and out of hypnotic states all day long, so it’s nothing strange or out of the ordinary. It’s a normal mental state we all experience every day (like for example when we daydream or are lost in thought).
NLP techniques are often set up in a way that the person automatically enters an altered state of mind which is a form of hypnosis. The NLP Milton model is based on hypnotic conversational language patterns which can be used in every NLP technique which makes the technique so much more powerful.
So: If you…
- Want to lose weight or having eating problems / eating disorder
- Have a disease which you believe can be healed
- Have sleeping problems
- Have a fear of public speaking
- Just feel generally unmotivated without a sense of life purpose and meaning
- Have any addictions like gambling, sex or any other addictions
- Have anxiety and / or panic attacks
- Have problematic relationships
- Have experienced trauma
- or anything else which is a challenge: NLP and Hypnosis can help.
Most problems are rooted in the unconscious mind. Any effective therapy has to work with the unconscious. It is especially the unconscious mind which is very powerful and can create challenges in your life if it is not aligned and integrated.
For example: Let’s say someone is constantly trying to lose weight but doesn’t succeed because of unconscious blockages which comes from early childhood. For this person trying to lose weight by going on a diet is the same as saying to someone who has been convicted for stealing many times: “don’t steal again.”
The deeper unconscious layers of our minds are very powerful and for the most part runs our lives for us. NLP and hypnosis are very useful mind tools how to work with these deeper unconscious layers of the mind and give us more choice in our lives so that our minds work with and for us and not against us.
Most allergies and also some auto-immune diseases can have an unconscious and emotional connection. One of the most interesting allergy cures I have done was for a client with a pea allergy: The client had such a strong allergy response to peas that he would go into an anaphylactic shock with just the smallest taste of peas. It all stemmed from an incident where he and his friend were swimming in the sea and the friend dove from some rocks and broke his neck. In the hospital they were serving pea soup every day while he was visiting his friend. His unconscious mind linked the trauma of his friend with peas and the allergy was his unconscious mind’s method to get him away from peas because ‘if he eats peas someone might get hurt again’. After we have cleared the Trauma the allergy disappeared.
